Municipal energy policy
The Municipality of Brissago intends to take on an exemplary role and pursue a careful and climate-friendly energy policy. In this context, the will of the Municipality to adopt an energy planning that analyzes the current situation of the Municipality and the potential for savings in the short, medium and long term, as well as locating the possibilities of exploitation of the materials available and identifying production potentials. The Municipal Energy Plan (PECo) was set up during 2019. The final report, which inter alia contains the energy objectives and an action plan with the measures to be implemented to achieve them, is available to all stakeholders.
