The walk of taste between lake, nature and breathtaking views

Live Brissago in a special way: a food and wine walk that starts from the Lido, climbs between districts and historical places, through natural views and unforgettable views, and then return to the lakefront and end with a final party.
From the lake to the hill, passing through historical places, squares and authentic corners of the territory: each stage is an experience to be enjoyed with all the senses.
Route (from 08:30 to 13:50)
Departures from 8:30 to 13:50 approximately every 40 minutes.
- Reusable steel nozzle and cutlery set

NB: The route includes paths with steps: is not practicable with strollers or prams. Small children can participate carried with a baby backpack.
Limited places
The event is reserved for a maximum of 450 people, with departures staggered in 9 slots of 50 people each to ensure quality and atmosphere.

General information
When does the event take place?
The 2nd edition of the Eating in Brisag will be held on Saturday 12 September 2026.
Where is the starting point?
The starting point of the route is at Lido di Brissago (Via Valmara 1 – Brissago).
What are the start times and duration?
The route starts from 8:30 to 13:50 and lasts about 3.5 hours. Departures are staggered every 40 minutes or so.
Can I access the final party?
Yes, the final party in Piazza Pioda is open to all and organised by the company ‘I Pitoc de Brisag’. Food and drinks will be charged.
Route and accessibility
How long is the route?
Approximately 5.5 km.
Are there guides or escorts along the way?
No, it's not.
Are there uphill or difficult sections?
Some stretches include moderate gradients, stairways and climbs through the streets of the village. The route is not practicable with strollers or prams.
Is it suitable for wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility?
The route has unpaved sections and passages on paths and stairways, so it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
Tickets and reservations
How to buy tickets?
Online, through the official website.
Is it necessary to book in advance?
Yes, seats are limited and may run out.
What are the costs for adults and children?
The prices are: CHF 60.– for adults; CHF 40.– for children aged 6 to 17; CHF 15.– for children from 3 to 5 years old and free for children up to 2 years old.
What is included in the cost of the ticket?
The cost of the ticket includes, in addition to the food and drinks indicated in the route, a nozzle and a set of reusable steel cutlery.
Free public transport from all over Ticino is included in the event ticket.
Can I buy tickets on the day of the event?
There is no cash register on the day of the event. Purchase is only possible online, as long as seats are available. Early booking is recommended.
Can I change or cancel a reservation?
No, it's not.
Food and drinks
How many gastronomic stages are there?
The route includes 9 food and wine stages.
Are drinks included in the price?
Yes, the intended drinks (in addition to water) are indicated in the various stages.
Logistics and transport
Where can I park?
In the marked public parking spaces near the Dannemann Centre – Tobacco Factory and in other areas of the country.
Is there a shuttle service to and from the car parks?
No, it's not.
Is it possible to reach the event by public transport?
Yes, through the buses of FART bus lines: the Local line 8 from Ronco sopra Ascona or the Regional line 316 from Locarno. The recommended stop is Brissago Town Hall.
Thanks to the agreement with Arcobaleno, the event ticket will include free public transport from all over Ticino.
Does the event also take place in case of rain?
Yes, yes.
Families and children
Is the event suitable for children?
Certainly! The event is designed for families, but also for slow tourism enthusiasts, lovers of good food and nature.
Attention: the route includes paths with steps and is not practicable with strollers or prams. Small children can only be brought with a baby carrier or a baby backpack.
Are there discounts for families?
No, there are no specific offers for families, but reduced prices are available for minors.
Pets
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are allowed as long as they are kept on a leash for the duration of the journey.
Are there areas dedicated to animals?
No, there are no specific areas, but dogs on a leash are welcome along the way.
