Our AI assistant was presented on stage at the Locarno Film Festival as part of the ‘Framing AI: From Locarno to Geneva 2027”.

On August 5th, Giorgino was the protagonist at the Locarno Film Festival during the event organised by digitalswitzerland It is dedicated to the future of artificial intelligence in Switzerland.

On stage, along with Roberto Mazzantini of Mazzantini & Associates SA, our digital assistant was presented not only as a tool at the service of citizens, but also in its evolution within the project the Viva Memory.

Created to facilitate access to municipal information and services, Giorgino is taking a further step: It also becomes an instrument capable of preserving and recounting Brissago's collective memory.

Through the Viva Memory, a first collection of over one hundred thousand pages of historical documents, registers, maps and scrolls It will be digitized thanks to the technology of Tectel SA. Over time, people’s testimonies, memories and voices can be added to this heritage, with the aim of building a living, questionable memory that can also be accessed by future generations.

To tell this evolution was made the short film “Giorgino and the Dragon Known as Oblivion”, presented to the Locarno audience through a dialogue between Roberto Mazzantini, his digital avatar and Giorgino.
