Born on 3 November 1961 in Sorengo, he lived until the age of 18 in Giubiasco, where he attended compulsory schools and the Cantonal School of Commerce in Bellinzona. He then moved to Geneva to continue his studies and undertake his first work experiences. In 1985 he returned to Ticino, settling in Brissago where, with his wife Ester, he took over his father-in-law’s business, managing it first in Ascona and then in Brissago until 2018.
Thanks to his professional experience in the area, lived in the heart of the country, he was able to benefit from a privileged stage, observing closely both the potential and the riches as well as the criticalities and fragilities of the Municipality.
He is the father of three children, a lover of sport and in particular of the Bianconeri colors in all their declinations.
Since 2002 he has been a member of the Parish Council of Brissago, of which he has been president for several years.
