Excursions and nature

For some time now, a great effort has been made to improve the paths that connect the various locations and above all make it easier for those that lead from the mountain area to the peaks, which are reflected in the lake. One complete network of trails (clearly indicated on a map, designed specifically for tourists) winds through laughing woods, touching places surrounded by greenery.

In the upper area, you can reach the Crown of the Pinci, the Lace Lion and the Ghiridone, from which you can enjoy a magnificent view of the lake and the coastal resorts.

Among the achievements of recent years, we point out the Alpine hut, located at Legn, which allows hikers and mountain lovers to organise unforgettable trips and stays in a unique alpine setting.

The pastures Once upon a time (Naccio, Alpe Cassone, Mergugno, Arolgia, Cortaccio) remain as vestiges of a peasant past, now preserved only in the memory of the elderly. Here too, by the miracle of nature, stands the the Sacred Forest, where, during the flowering of the cytisus, it dyes a large wooded area above Mergugno yellow.
