Born on January 24, 1975, he completed his education in Brissago and Losone, obtaining in 1994 the AFC diploma in electronics at the AGIE company in Losone. Subsequently he graduated in Computer Engineering at the Scuola Tecnica Superiore (now SUPSI) in 1998.
His professional career began at BancaStato as a programmer, and then continued as an analyst-programmer at GM Technologies SA in Agno. From 2002 to 2010 he was a software engineer at SunTiS SA in Bellinzona. Since 2010 he has been working as a teacher of professional knowledge for computer scientists at the Technical Professional Center of Locarno, where he is also responsible for the management of the headquarters computer network.
Married to Christina in 2003, he is the father of three daughters. A great ski enthusiast, he holds the position of president of the local Ski Club and is deputy commander of the Brissago fire brigade.
