The drinking water supply service provides the necessary water to all users domiciled and/or resident in Brissago with exclusive rights over the entire jurisdictional territory.

It is a public-law company subject to the management of the Town Hall and the supervision of the Town Council by the three main coasts of Piodina, Incella and Porta, the water supplied in the Municipality of Brissago is particularly appreciated.

At the same time, the water supplied in the Brissago distribution network meets the legal requirements of potability and is exclusively of spring origin.

With regard to the main tasks and duties assigned to this administrative service, whose director is also responsible for the Public Works sector, the following are particularly worthy of mention

• feasibility studies (PGA,...)
• direct management of mandates
• planning (consulting and assistance to private planners)
• works management
• network cadastre (advice and assistance to private planners)
• drafting the works plan
• drafting of municipal messages
• maintenance of aqueducts, network and installations.

Finally, during the opening hours of the main counter of the Municipal Technical Office (every weekday from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.), various types of information are provided to the public upon request.
