Ninety years of history, commitment, availability and, above all, service to the population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Brissago Fire Brigade celebrates a particularly significant milestone this year: 90 years since its foundation. An anniversary that goes far beyond a simple anniversary and represents an opportunity to retrace a long history made up of people, interventions, sacrifices, friendship and a strong sense of belonging to the territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In ninety years Brissago has changed. The needs of the population have changed, as have the means, equipment, technologies and methods of intervention. One thing, however, has remained unchanged over time: the spirit that animates the Body and the will to be there when needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Behind every intervention there are many hours that are often not seen: training, exercises, preparation, maintenance of vehicles and equipment. There is responsibility, competence and great team spirit. But above all there are people who make available an important part of their time and who, when a call arrives, are ready to leave family, work and personal commitments to intervene to help those in difficulty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 90th anniversary thus becomes a moment to look proudly at the road travelled and to remember all the women and men who, generation after generation, have helped to write the history of the Brissago Fire Corps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A thought goes to those who have been part of it in the past, to those who have transmitted experience and values to the new generations and, of course, to those who today continue this important mission with the same enthusiasm and sense of duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But such an important anniversary is also an opportunity to look to the future. Because a ninety-year history continues only if someone is willing to take the baton, keeping alive values such as solidarity, availability, courage, responsibility and closeness to their community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A day to celebrate together<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To share this important goal, the Brissago Fire Brigade invites the entire population on Sunday 20 September, starting at 11 a.m., at the Brissago sports field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The day will start with the official part, dedicated to the celebration of the 90th anniversary and the history of the Corps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end there will be a convivial moment with an aperitif and a maccheronata offer, accompanied by a well-stocked buvette. A simple programme open to all, designed above all to meet, be together and celebrate a Corps that has been an important presence for Brissago for ninety years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It will be the fire party, of course, but it also wants to be and above all a celebration of the whole community: a moment to meet closely the people who make up the Body, remember who was part of it and share together an important piece of the history of our country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
90 years of commitment. 90 years of passion. 90 years of community service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Behind this number are generations of firefighters, thousands of hours dedicated to others, and a single great spirit that continues to this day: to be there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event is therefore scheduled for Sunday 20 September from 11 a.m. at the Brissago sports field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
